Words from the Author

There are plenty of smart money people and money smart people writing books with great suggestions and ideas to help us improve our personal and household finances. Why yet another?

Because books written for “everyday people” are few. Some books are written for or by the rich and/or the wealthy (not the same thing, by the way) or the books look and read like college texts. They are too heavy on theory and too light on the practical.

Having worked in classrooms with well over 10,000 in the past decade, it has been my privilege to learn from my students and share with them ideas for bolstering our financial situations. This book is the outgrowth of the over 1,000 presentations I have facilitated over that time, and the conversations that occurred in those classes.
